The production cycle in the tanning industry is composed of multiple phases of leather processing and processes that require the intensive use of chemicals.

At all stages of hide and leather preparation, tanning and post-tanning, the ambient air can be heavily contaminated by odours, toxic emissions and dusts that can dwell dangerously in the workplace.

In order to reduce air pollution, there needs to be an air suction system located near the source and specific filtration equipment depending on the type of pollutant.

Our air treatment systems for the tanning industry are designed and built in compliance with the main applicable standards (Consolidated Law on Safety at Work 81/2008, Consolidated Law on the Environment 152/2006, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC) and we certify our systems in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU if these are to be used in an explosive atmosphere.

Thanks to our "turnkey" solutions, we can solve the main contamination problems caused by the emission of solvents into the air during the finishing phases, such as painting, and the dust produced by certain types of mechanical processing, such as shearing and polishing.
