Toner cleaning workstationThe innovative booths in the Twister series for extracting toner dust spring from the research and experience acquired in air treatment systems. During the laser printer cartridge regeneration process, toner dust which is harmful for the operator's health is released. Twister toner cleaning workstation make it possible to carry out the regeneration operations in safety and keep the workstation clean. The Twister workstation is a machine designed to be used exclusively in the regeneration process for laser printer and copier cartridges. The Twister toner cleaning booth makes it possible for the operator to carry out the cleaning and emptying stages and then refill in the cartridge in complete safety, at the same time eliminating the risk of environmental pollution caused by the escape of toner dust during the normal regeneration cycle. The toner cleaning booths for extracting toner dust in the Twister series are composed essentially of a bearing structure made of extruded aluminium section bars fixed together by stout connection fittings and associated screws. The divisions of the internal volume of the cleaning machine body have been made using double-wall panelling in galvanized and painted steel sheet. The external panelling is realized from expanded polyurethane panels and a double supporting layer of galvanized and painted steel sheeting. The toner cleaning machine is managed by means of a control panel with which the operator is able to carry out the entire work cycle. Furthermore, a transparent polycarbonate panel is fixed at the front so as to provide complete visibility during the operation. Before starting the work to regenerate the cartridge it is necessary to check that the toner cleaning workstation is in working order and that all its parts are completely efficient. Make sure that the toner collection bucket is not full. If it is, first put on the special gloves and then dispose of the toner as special waste. Before positioning the bucket under the dust discharge, line the inside of the bucket itself with a plastic bag so that you do not have to change the bucket every time it is full of toner dust. Secure the collection bucket to the hopper discharge using the special metal clamp with notched fastener. Toner workstationMontes produces toner cleaning workstations for the remanufacturing of printer and copier cartridges. The machines are completely designed and manufactured in Italy using all our know-how coming from 32 years experience in the industrial air treatment systems. We produce 3 models:
The core of our workstations is an electronic system to control in real time the filtering status: the user gets a perfect air filtration in any time. No more than 0,2 mg/cubic-meter of sucked toner goes out from the booth. Twister 1200 booth and Twister 1500 booth are also equipped with an electronic system to maintain the sucked air flow constant by mean of inverter technology: if the filters are new or if they are at the end of their life time the user gets the same suction performance on the workplace. On Twister booths the filtering system is structured with a prefilter and a HEPA filter. The booth Twister 1500 mounts also an activated charcoal filter for VOC filtration (useful only if cartridges are cleaned up with solvents). The prefilters are equipped with a self cleaning system by mean of jet pulse technology: a flow of compressed air shakes cycling the filters. The user can perfom the prefilter cleaning cycle also manually, just pressing a button. An analogical manometer measures, in real time, the prefilter's pressure drop: the user recognizes when it is the time to change the prefilter. The HEPA filter status is controlled in real time by mean of a digital transmitter. It controls if the HEPA filter is clogged or broken an it returns an alarm message. The waste filtered toner is collected in a pvc bag. The bag is inside the machine frame, on the bottom. During the pvc bag replacement some toner could exit from the bag but it falls down on the machine's bottom: the floor of your workshop still remain clean. Incremental formingIncremental forming process offers new outlets for the creativity of designers, and for prototype forming and small batch requirements. Montes was the first in Europe to propose sheet metal forming using the innovative incremental forming technology. Using incremental forming technology we make prototypes and small batches of pieces in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, brass, copper. Our incremental forming process eliminates or notably reduces the costs for making dies. Using our incremental sheet forming service you can produce pressed pieces even when you do not have the quantities required to amortize the cost of a die. Incremental forming process allows you to make working prototypes directly from the CAD model. In incremental forming technology, a sheet of metal is clamped in place a forming tool then gradually traces the contours of the required shape under CNC control. We design the mathematical model by means of 3D modeling software and the tool path by means of a dedicated CAM software. As the forming takes place, the sheet is pulled down over a support post or simple mould made from low cost, disposable materials. Incremental sheet forming is not a high speed manufacturing process and thus is well suited for prototype parts and small volume products. Our incremental forming technology leads to the production of a sheet metal products relatively quickly and with reasonable accuracy from a 3D CAD file. The incremental sheet metal forming process can be used for rapid prototyping, small production runs, or low volume production. With incremental sheet metal forming method Montes is able to form sheet metal parts measuring up to 2,000 x 1,300 x 500 mm. A sheet metal forming operation requires the minimum of special tooling, also being a chip-less process, it produces a minimum of waste material in the manufacturing process.
